School Psychologist
Full-time
Initial Screening starts 5/8/2024
Qualifications:
- PA Certification: School Psychologist
- Minimum of Master’s Degree in School Psychology
- Knowledge of special education and student services regulations and mandates
- Familiarity with data collection methods, progress monitoring and response to intervention
- Ability to develop and appropriately communicate research-based classroom interventions, including the running of mental health groups
- Experience with positive behavioral approaches and functional behavioral analysis
- Experience with special education process and procedures including IEP development and implementation
- Knowledge of local resources for students with disabilities
- Strong organizational skills with ability to multitask
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively
Responsibilities:
- Provide a continuum of school psychology services to students
- Complete compliant psychoeducational assessments
- Analyze and integrate results of psychoeducational assessments
- Complete compliant and appropriate Psychoeducational Evaluation/Reevaluation reports
- Incorporate functional behavioral analysis reports and assist in developing positive behavioral plans with IEP teams
- Act as the school building liaison with selected schools
- Consult with staff, parents and students as appropriate
- Facilitate selected student groups and parent trainings
- Provide staff development as appropriate
- Attend selected meetings and attend/participate in the development of staff development sessions
