The following full-time position may be available:

 (6.5 hours/day, Student Days)

FT Food Service Lead

• High School Diploma
• Demonstrated aptitude or competence for assigned responsibility
• Pleasant, friendly demeanor
• Must be able to become Serve Safe Certified
• Food service prep experience

Performance Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve appetizing meals to students and staff in an efficient, sanitary and fiscally responsible manner
• Place daily and weekly orders; review and sign incoming bills
• Review and submit payroll timesheets
• Execute semiannual inventory of food and supplies
• Check kitchen equipment, walk in freezer and refrigerator for cleaning and food storage
• Report all equipment failures, accidents, security problems or concerns immediately to proper authority
• Prepare assigned menu items in compliance with the National School Lunch Program regulations
• Taste all food items and check serving lines for appropriate serving proportions
• Properly store food at the end of each day; lock refrigerators, storerooms and office
• Assign to staff all necessary kitchen tasks to function effectively
• End of day reporting and bank deposit
• Production Records, accurately complete - including morning and end of day figures
• Cashiering, properly identify NSLP and BSB reimbursable meals, following district policies, including charging policy
• Attend all mandated and requested training
• Flexibility to assist department as requested
• Must be properly attired in district uniform

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry 30 pounds
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to work in varying temperatures 

Hourly Rate: $15.85 (less than 1 year of service)

Additional Requirements:

• Completion of PDE required training (on-line training courses)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
