A N T I C I P A T E D  V A C A N C Y

The following position may be available in the upcoming 2019-2020 school year:

Full-time Benefited Food Service Team Member

Student Days (5 hours per day)

District-wide Floater

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma
• Ability to work independently
• Demonstrate aptitude or competence for assigned responsibility
• Pleasant, friendly demeanor
• Serve Safe Certified, or ability to acquire certification
• Food service prep experience, preferred; but not required
• Ability to operate a cash register/point of sale system
• May be assigned to various locations
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation, required

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry 30 pounds
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to work in varying temperatures

Performance Responsibilities:

• Preparation of food
• Serve students and staff from serving line
• Keep serving counter clean and restocked
• Maintain kitchen/serving area in a neat and sanitary fashion
• Operate point of sale
• Knowledge of portion sizes and School Food Service regulations
• Complete end of day paperwork and bank deposit
• Attend department training sessions
• Other duties, as assigned

Additional Requirements:

• Completion of PDE required training (on-line training courses)

• Current (less than one-year old) clearances: Child Abuse, PA State Police Criminal History, FBI Fingerprint Record
• Completion of PA Act 168 Disclosure Release Form(s) – successful candidates will receive electronic notification

Hourly Rate: $14.40
