The following position may be available in the 2024-25 school year:
Registered Behavior Technician
Secondary Level
Qualifications:
- Registered Behavior Technician Certification: required (or ability to acquire within 30 days)
- High school diploma required; 2+ years college degree, desired
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Effective communication skills
- Experience working with special needs students, desired
Requirements:
- RBTs will use ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) strategies with students.
- Provide direct care to students in a one-on-one or group setting to implement skill acquisition and behavior reduction treatments
- Collect and record data on student behavior.
- Collaborate, communicate, and assist with the implementation of positive behavior support plans.
- Provide a safe and supportive environment for students.
- Assist in de-escalation of students exhibiting behavior.
- Flexibly respond to building needs in the area of social, emotional and behavioral learning.
- Other duties as assigned.
