Full-time Technology Support Specialist – Instructional
Central Office
(40 hours/week -12 Months)
Reports to: Director of Technology Innovation and Instructional Design, &
Assistant Director of Instructional Technology
Job Goal: Serve as instructional technology specialist for instructional design, educational technology, and technical assistance.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent technical certifications, preferred
- Experience: Minimum of two (2) years in educational technology, instructional design, and/or computer support.
- Mindsets: Problem-solver, human-centered, creative, future-focused. Centered on: People, Performance, Progress, and Passion.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Educational Technology
- Educational Technology support for implementation within the classroom working with hardware and software with teachers and students.
- Keep current of the latest educational technologies for support, showcase, and integration. Work with teachers, students, and classes integrating educational technologies.
- Provide support for educational technology software including, but not limited to: online resource configuration, account setups, teacher assistance and training. Work with appropriate curricular and technical team member(s) to ensure configurations for systems integration.
- Instructional Design
- Creation of instructional modules, resources, and courses for staff and students that include academic courses, training, professional development, etc.
- Support teachers in the development of courses and content for: Radnor Cyber Academy, Flex Cyber, Hybrid, In-person Blended, etc.
- Technical Assistance

- Provide coverage for Help Desk when Technology Resource Personnel (Tier I) staff is unavailable due to absence or pulled to other tasks/projects in a building.
- Support summer work including, but limited to: hardware preparation, device collection and distribution, software readiness.
- Support community (family/parent) for access to ed tech software.
Rate: $39.73 per hour
