The following 10-month, Level 2 position may be available immediately:
Attendance/Discipline Secretary
Radnor Middle School
7 hours/day, 221 days/year
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required
- Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
- Ability to exercise judgment, display tact, diplomacy, and sensitivity
- Ability to collaborate well with administrators, teachers, support staff, students, and the community
- Ability to lift at least 15 pounds
- Strong letter writing and editing skills and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and database management.
- Prerequisite skills testing, required
Responsibilities:
- Process the daily attendance
- Complete morning attendance,
- record attendance in student management system,
- distribute attendance list to staff,
- reconcile the attendance with late arrivals, calls, and notes.
- Process the discipline record as directed by building administrators
- Record the discipline,
- send reports to parents and appropriate staff, as determined by building administration.
- Complete secretarial duties, including filing and record keeping for attendance and discipline.
- Provide coverage for secretaries during lunch break(s) as assigned by the principal.
- Assist other secretaries with general school mailings and projects.
- Complete other duties as assigned by the building principal and assistant principals.
Hourly Rate Range: $17.13 - $22.72

Additional Requirements:
- Completion of PDE required training (on-line training courses)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- May be required to lift up to 40 lbs.
