Applications are being accepted for substitute school nurses.

 As applications are reviewed, selected applicants will be contacted.

Substitute School Nurse

District-wide

Qualifications:

• PA Certificate – Certified School Nurse

OR

• Licensed practical nurse (LPN)

OR

• Registered Nurse (RN)

OR

• Currently enrolled in a nursing program.

• Minimum two years experience

Deadline:  May 1, 2023

Additional Requirements:

• Completion of PDE required training (on-line training courses)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• May be required to lift up to 40 lbs.

Additional documents that are required for employment but are not required to apply:

• Current (less than one-year old) clearances: Child Abuse, PA State Police Criminal History, FBI Fingerprint Record
• Completion of PA Act 168 Disclosure Release Form(s) – successful candidates will receive electronic notification.

Membership in PSERS (Public School Employees’ Retirement System) required

• Nursing License
• 3 letters of recommendation
